Season Finale Extravaganza!
Friday, May 1, 2009 at 7:00pm
$15 Adult / $10 Senior & Student
To conclude the celebration of our 5th Season, we are featuring Rabl’s Quartet, Op. 1, which won first prize in 1896 in a prestigious competition for young composers sponsored by the Vienna Tonkünstlerverein (Musicians’ Society) in which Brahms was honorary president and a judge of the competition! The concert continues with Hindemith’s unusual but brilliant trio of viola, heckelphone and piano, and Ibert’s fun-filled Divertissement. Join us for the annual Season Finale Reception after the concert!
