Bach, Baroque and Bassoons

Rodney Ackmann leads MU Bassoon Ensemble to open this year’s Baroque concert, followed by Telemann’s oboe sonata, J. S. Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto No. 6 (otherwise known as Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in concerto grosso), and Odyssey Chamber Ensemble. R. Paul Crabb presents the magnificent Bach Collegium Choir in a double feature of Bach’s Motet “O Jesu Christ meins Lebens” and also in a beautiful and upbeat Bach Cantata BWV 192, “Nun danket.”
